Update1 : Both Bell and Rogers haven’t announced anything officially yet, however the internet service has resumed among some users who were affected by this issue.
Bell’s internet service has been down since around 5:20 pm (EST) on 7th May, 2019 and Rogers’ internet service has been down since around 3:40 pm (EST) on the same day.
The main issue is that Wi-Fi modems from Bell or Rogers can’t connect to the internet, so you can still connect to WiFi but it says “No internet“ and can’t connect to the internet.
According to IS THE SERVICEDOWN?CA, the issue is happening mainly in the Eastern Canada.
According to Bell, they know what has been causing this issue and they’re working to fix this issue. For Toronto, they’re working to fix this issue by 11 pm on 9th May.
