Abdullahi Adan who is the one of four suspects who kidnapped a Chinese international student whose name is Wanzhen Lu turned himself in to police this week.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued this Monday (April 1st, 2019) for Abdullahi Adan who is 37-year-old and lives in Toronto. He was wanted on four chargers, kidnapping, forcible, confinement, assault with a weapon and assault. But he turned himself in to York Regional Police at night on April 1st.
Abdullahi Adan was the first suspect to be named after a surveillance camera caught three masked guys kidnapping Wanzhen Lu in the parking garage of a condominium in Markham around 6 pm on March 23rd (EDT).
Three days after Wanzhen Lu was kidnapped, he was found alive with minor injuries 200 km away from where he was kidnapped.
Other three suspects are still sought and the first one was described as a masked man wearing a jacket and blue pants, the second one was described as a masked man who has a dark skin and the height of 185 cm and wearing a black Canada Goose jacket, and the third one was described as a masked man wearing a green and yellow hoodie.
