【Pronunciation】Japanese Tongue Twisters

A great way to practice pronunciation in any languages is to do tongue twisters! Let's look at Japanese tongue twisters!






・なまむぎなまごめなまたまご

( nama-mugi nama-gome nama-tamago )

・ねるねるねるね

( neru neru neru ne )

This is actually not a tongue twister but for Japanese learners, it's pretty hard to pronouce and it's like a tongue twister.


・ばすがすばくはつ

( gasu baku bakuhatsu )


・となりのきゃくはよくかきくうきゃくだ

( tonari no kyaku wa yoku kakiku kyakuda )


・にわにはにわにわとりがいる

( niwa niwa niwa niwatori ga iru )


・あぶりかるび

( aburi karubi )


・まさちゅーせっつしゅう

( masachu settsu shu )


・あかぱじゃまきいぱじゃまちゃぱじゃま

( aka pajyama ki pajyama cha pajyama )


・とうきょうとっきょきょかきょく

( Tokyo tokkyo kyoka kyo ku )


・かえるぴょこぴょこ3(み)ぴょこぴょこ あわせてぴょこぴょこ6(む)ぴょこぴょこ

( kaeru pyoko pyoko mi pyoko pyoko awasete pyoko pyoko mu pyoko pyoko )
